Traditioneel worden tijdens Yuletide de groenblijvende sparren, hulst, klimop en maretak naar binnen gebracht als een symbool van eeuwig leven en vernieuwing. Mythen en folklore zijn er in overvloed en spookachtige verhalen rond deze feestdagen worden verteld.

M.R. James, auteur van ongelooflijke spookverhalen, vertelde spookverhalen aan vrienden terwijl ze rond een knappend vuur zaten. 'Ik schreef deze verhalen met lange tussenpozen, en de meeste werden voorgelezen aan geduldige vrienden, meestal met Kerstmis...'.

Dus met dat in gedachten heb ik een nieuw kerstontwerp gemaakt dat de traditie van het vertellen van spookverhalen tijdens de feestdagen combineert met de tradities van Yule. Wat is er fijner dan gezellig bijkletsen tijdens deze donkere nachten?

De ontwerpomtrek 'plakken en naaien' maakt het gemakkelijk voor u om snel aan de slag te gaan en geeft u een perfecte omtrek om te volgen.

Onze kits hebben alles wat je nodig hebt, van stof tot naald en draad. Het instructieboekje van 20 pagina's in kleur leidt u door de stappen om dit verbluffende ontwerp te maken. U kunt ervoor kiezen om het pakket met of zonder de borduurring te kopen.

We’re fast approaching that time of year when traditionally the evergreens Fir, Holly, Ivy and Mistletoe, are brought inside as a symbol of everlasting life and renewal. Myths and folklore abound and ghostly tales around this festive season, are recounted.

M.R. James, author of incredible ghostly stories, would recount ghostly tales to friends while they sat around a roaring fire. ‘I wrote these stories at long intervals, and most of them were read to patient friends, usually at the seasons of Christmas...’.

So, with that in mind, I’ve created a new Christmas design which combines the tradition of recounting ghost stories during the festive season and the traditions of Yule. What could be better than cosying up during these dark nights?

Whether you are looking for a new hobby or a new design, our complete embroidery kits give you everything you need. Its small enough to take with you wherever you go, and it can be on hand to help calm your chaos.

Alle verzenddozen die we gebruiken kunnen worden hergebruikt of gerecycled.

Papieren zakdoekjes en stickers kunnen worden gerecycled of zelfs worden gecomposteerd. Het tissuepapier is vrij van logo's, dus voel je vrij om het opnieuw te gebruiken voor een ander cadeau.

Pergamijnzakjes kunnen hergebruikt worden.

Borduurwerk & Kunst

De items die we maken zijn bedoeld om lang mee te gaan, zodat je er jarenlang plezier van hebt.

Alle foto's zijn op katoenen voddenpapier geplakt en onze instructieboekjes zijn gemaakt van combinaties van gerecyclede materialen, FSC-gecertificeerd papier of bijproducten van andere processen.

Cadeaupapier en stof

Cadeaupapier wordt gedrukt op gerecycled papier met behulp van plantaardige oliën. Lint is wasbaar en herbruikbaar.

De stoffen tassen zijn ofwel gemaakt van overgebleven stof van andere projecten of op bestelling bedrukt met inkt op waterbasis.
